I am so excited to share Chase & Emily’s engagement session at Gillis Hill Farm! Their wedding will be my very first local Fayetteville wedding, and it already feels so special. I actually met Emily through her mom, who I connected with through my husband, Josh—and from the very beginning, I knew this couple was going to be such a joy to work with.

Their wedding will take place at a chic barn venue here in Fayetteville, so it was only fitting that their engagement session carried that same rustic and romantic charm. Gillis Hill Farm turned out to be the perfect spot for photos—charming, full of character, and the kind of backdrop that lets love take center stage.

Even though the North Carolina summer heat was intense (seriously, it felt more like Florida than Fayetteville that day!), Chase & Emily made it look effortless. Their joy and love for each other came through in every shot, and their sneak peek is just a taste of how beautiful this session was.

And then… we made an unexpected friend. 🐐 Shortly after we arrived, one of the baby goats managed to escape his enclosure and decided to join us for the session! He followed us all around the farm, bleating whenever he fell behind and even posing for quite a few shots with the couple. It was hilarious, adorable, and made this session one we’ll never forget.

Josh and I had the best time with Chase & Emily, and their engagement session has me even more excited for their upcoming Fayetteville wedding. I can already tell it’s going to be such a beautiful celebration full of love, laughter, and the kind of memories that last a lifetime.
