There is something special about gathering with other creatives and building something beautiful together.
Styled shoots have always held a special place in my heart. Of course, they create space for beautiful photographs, but what I love most is the collaboration behind them. There is something incredibly meaningful about bringing together talented vendors, sharing a vision, and watching it slowly come to life in the details.
Since moving to North Carolina, one of the things I’ve looked forward to most has been connecting with the local wedding community. Getting to know the talented vendors here and creating something meaningful together felt like the perfect way to begin.
So when I was invited to participate in a styled shoot at 143 Maxwell in downtown Fayetteville, North Carolina, I knew it would be something special.
143 Maxwell is a truly lovely space for weddings and celebrations in the heart of Fayetteville.
The venue offers a clean, timeless setting that allows every event to feel completely unique. White brick walls create a soft, classic backdrop, while beautiful white rafters stretch overhead, giving the entire space an open and welcoming feel. Elegant gold chandeliers hang above the room, adding just the right amount of warmth and romance.
It’s the kind of venue that feels effortlessly refined while still leaving plenty of room for a couple’s personal vision.
One of the things I loved most about this space is its downtown location. After capturing moments inside the venue, you can simply step outside and find yourself surrounded by the charm of downtown Fayetteville—perfect for portraits that feel both timeless and full of character.
For couples planning a wedding in Fayetteville, North Carolina, 143 Maxwell offers a beautiful blank canvas where every detail can feel intentional and personal.
This styled shoot featured several design concepts throughout the day, but the inspiration highlighted here centered around a rich and romantic purple palette.
The florals were absolutely stunning. Lush arrangements filled with soft purples and complementary tones created a look that felt both elegant and inviting. The ceremony space was framed by a breathtaking floral installation that immediately drew your eye and set the tone for the entire design.
One of my favorite elements was the hanging floral arrangement suspended above the reception space. It added such a sense of artistry and movement, transforming the room in the most beautiful way.
The tablescape design carried the same thoughtful elegance. Delicate stationery, carefully chosen place settings, and layered details created a setting that felt both refined and welcoming.
Every piece, from the florals to the table design, worked together to tell a calm, romantic story.
The dresses were beautiful, the models brought such natural grace to the setting, and the entire scene felt like stepping into a wedding day filled with joy, connection, and meaningful moments.
While the details were stunning, what made this day truly memorable was the people behind it.
Spending time with other photographers, meeting the venue owner, and collaborating with talented vendors made the entire experience feel creative and deeply collaborative. These kinds of days are a reminder of how much heart exists within the wedding community.
It was a joy to create together, share ideas, and build new friendships along the way.
143 Maxwell is such a beautiful space for couples planning a wedding in Fayetteville, North Carolina, and it was a true joy to photograph such a romantic design inside this timeless venue.
