A venue local to me has this gorgeous wisteria tree. It’s only in bloom about one month out of the year, and I wanted to put together an editorial shoot with that as the focus. The editorial was small and portrait-based, since we were wanting inspiration for a small elopement, but even without all the extra details it turned out amazing!

The weather certainly didn’t cooperate with us though. We only had about two hours to take photos, but it was supposed to rain the entire time. Thankfully, it stayed away for the first hour before the sky erupted in rain and lightning. The overcast skies allowed us to get some vibrant colors though! Looking at these photos you can’t tell that there’s a huge thunderstorm off in the distance about to hit us.
