Despite the forecast being against them, Jonathan and Jennifer had a beautiful wedding at The Estate on the Halifax, in Port Orange, Florida. It was supposed to storm all day, but the rain held out through the ceremony and for the majority of their photos! Just as we were finishing, the heavens opened up, and boy, did it pour! Our trek over to the reception hall got us soaked, even under umbrellas, but it was worth every minute! We got some gorgeous shots, and you can’t tell that during their couple’s portraits it was dark, gloomy, and thunder rolling. Just goes to show that even if it rains on your wedding day, you can still get beautiful pictures!

While I’ve shot at this venue several times, this was my first time where the ceremony wasn’t forced indoors. I was so happy to shoot an outdoor ceremony here! Especially with such a beautifully in love couple. Jonathan & Jennifer were a joy to be around, and just look at her dress! I loved how open it was in the back, and the beading that added so much extra elegance.
