ethereal romance
editorial
This styled editorial took place on the historical streets and beaches of St. Augustine. Our goal was to create beautiful inspirational images for the bride who wants to be non-traditional without sacrificing the romantic element of her portraits.
tim + mollie's stormy engagement session
It stormed for three straight weeks before Tim & Mollie's engagement session in St. Augustine, but the rain did not stop this couple! We got wet and did some Notebook inspired photos that are some of my favorite to this day!
why details are important
Flat Lay may seem insignificant in the grand scheme of the wedding day, but these little details are just as important. Each one was thought through and planned out, and executed with love. They are party of the wedding story, and deserve to be documented.
I had an amazing time with Kyle & Jessica on their wedding day! They celebrated saying their I do’s with their friends and family at Paradise Cove in Orlando, FL. It was my first time shooting there, but I hope to do so far more often in the future! What a beautiful little venue. Everything […]
These are becoming so popular and I absolutely love it. There’s nothing worse than capturing that first kiss as a married couple, and Uncle Bob’s giant iPad gets in the shot. I definitely recommend having an unplugged ceremony. Not only does that guarantee that somebody’s phone or iPad doesn’t show up in your wedding photos, […]
We could not have asked for a more beautiful day for Ryan and Mary’s engagement session! The weather was warm, but not hot, and the sun was gorgeous! Golden hour was perfect, and we had such a good time, despite the mosquitos. We walked around Silver Springs State Park, taking the boardwalk and walking the […]
There are so many elements to a wedding that may be overwhelming, forgotten, or simply confusing to the first-time bride. Flat lay is one of these things. For the bride who is new to weddings, flat lay details may not be something at the top of the priority list, or something even thought of until […]
No matter what kind of send-off exit you have planned, having a controlled exit is better than an uncontrolled one. What I mean by this, is how it is executed. Make sure your planner knows they should coordinate family and friends into two lines. Your photographer should get with them ahead of time to let […]
I drove out to St. Augustine to meet up with Nathan and Jessica for their engagment session. It was super cold and windy, but looking at these photos you wouldn’t be able to tell! We traveled St. George Street and had a blast. While the light was out it was absolutely gorgeous, but it faded […]
I’ve been working on something behind the scenes for a while now, and I’m so excited to finally share! Pro Prints is an incredible print shop, and I’ve worked with them to create these gorgeous styling mats for wedding and product photography. I have hand painted each watercolor floral illustration, then had them printed on […]
I had always heard about the botanical gardens in Williston, but I had never been. So when Elizabeth suggested them for her and Benjamin’s engagement session, I was super excited! Upon arriving, I was a little concerned, since my very small car took the very small country roads a little roughly. However, getting past the […]
I had never been to Rainbow Springs State Park, so when Jennifer suggested it as the location for their engagement shoot, I was excited to see a new place. Rainbow Springs did not disappoint! The springs were beautifully landscaped and you could look out at them from high up. The water was crystal clear and […]
I had an absolute blast with Alex & Megan out in New Smyrna Beach for their engagement session. So many things stood in our way too, but we prevailed! First was Hurricane Ian, causing us to reschedule due to damage along the coastline of New Smyrna. Then our reschedule date was threatening thunderstorms and hail. […]
